New Protective Styling (Braids and Weave) Photos:
I recently had to replace my phone, and it’s been a while since I took a decent photo of my work. These are a few braiding styles, and weave style that are easy to maintain. They’re referred to as protective styles because they can protect the hair from damage and breakage caused by over processing, harsh weather and over styling.
Caring for braids and weaves:
Remember, it’s your real hair in the braids, and under the weave. It may make styling easier, but it needs to be taken care of as well. Keep your scalp clean to prevent build up. Keep your scalp oiled to prevent dryness, and keep the braids oiled and moisturized. A good leave-in conditioner will do the job.
