I love ❤ braids with colors. You can spice up your braid style with subtle or conspicuous highlights.

Her natural hair is very close to color 2 (Dark Brown). She wanted highlights of color 27 (Blond) and color 33 ( Dark Auburn), but she did not want it to overwhelm the natural color (2).

I used Xpressions Braiding Hair.
