This is a feedin (feeding) cornrow style in a bun. Some people call it Cornrolls, Goddess Bun and Flat Braids.

She said she would never wear it down, so I decided to secure the bun by stitching it in with a sewing needle and thread. This way, she won’t have to deal with unwrapping and rewrapping it.
