This is actually not Pros and Cons in the plural sense. I will list one major pro and one major con of Bohemian (Boho) braids.
Pro/Positive Aspect of Bohemian (Boho) Braids
The major pro is how beautiful it looks. Bohemian braids are gorgeous, when installed correctly, of course.
You get the best of both worlds; flowing curls and braids.
Con/Negative Aspect of Bohemian (Boho) Braids
The major con is how difficult it is to maintain; this is whether or not you use synthetic hair or human hair. As a matter of fact, you could use 100% human hair and it could still look shabby after a couple of weeks.
When you leave your stylist’s chair, and when they take pictures for Instagram or any other social media platform, it could look flawless. But after about a week or two, it can get fuzzy and/or shabby.
So, what is my recommendation for Boho Braids?
When considering Bohemian braids, create a hair care plan in advance (if possible). There are tutorials online. See below for links.
Please remember, maintaining synthetic hair is quite different from maintaining human hair. As a matter fact, maintaining ‘human hair blend’ is different from maintaining ‘100% human hair’.
First, figure out what kind of hair you have and then plan accordingly.
