When we say ‘feathered’ and ‘tapered’ ends, we are referring to the slim finish at the end of the braids. These braids start off with a specific size and gradually get smaller. This method provides a natural looking braid and easy-to-seal ends.
Most extension don’t come pre-feathered or pre-stretched. A few do. If you’re a professional braider or you do your own braids, below is a video that shows how to prep the hair for this feathered/tapered ends.
